Pentagram Research Foundation (PRF) was started in the year 2005 with the idea of creating an awareness especially among the Indian students, faculty and society in fundamental and applied research in various disciplines. Where on one side there is a boom in Information Technology related commercial activities, on the other side, there is a sharp decline in research and development which we feel that would be a real stumbling block for a developing nation. After a series of discussions with many academicians and industrialists, we resolved in one of our board meetings that our company would promote research culture through an institution which we named as Pentagram Research Foundation.

The major objectives of this foundation are:

1. To staff the foundation with world renowned academicians and scientists

2. To have a model university which would adhere to international standards

3. To organize awareness programs in India and in other countries focusing R&D

4. To organize international conferences (like what we regularly do in the name of ICSCI)

5. To publish journals, books, technical reports, research monographs and other relevant materials

6. To carry out self sponsored research projects

7. To carry out sponsored projects from various institutions, industries and agencies

8. To adopt villages and transform them into what we call as Knowledge Based Societies (KBS)

9. To support governments and service organizations in the area of education and training
